The 2-Breath Hypnosis Technique
Discover a simple technique designed to help you release stress, feel calmer, and refocus in just moments.
With regular practice, the 2-Breath Hypnosis Technique can help you move through your day feeling more relaxed, positive, and in control, making it easier to leave the stress of the day behind and truly unwind.

The Relaxation Scale
Before you begin, take a moment to notice how relaxed you feel.
We'll use a simple Relaxation Scale from 1 to 10, with 1 representing feeling highly stressed or anxious and 10 representing feeling completely relaxed and at ease.
Â
It's important to remember that hypnosis itself is not relaxation. Hypnosis is a heightened state of focused awareness, and it's entirely possible to experience hypnosis while feeling engaged and energized.
For this particular technique, however, our focus is on using hypnosis to help you relax, release tension, and unwind.
- Check in with yourself.
On a scale of 1 to 10, notice how relaxed you feel right now. - Choose your peaceful color.
Think of a color that represents peace, calm, and tranquility to you. - Choose your stress color.
Now choose a different color to represent stress, tension, anxiety, or anything you'd like to release. - Close your eyes and breathe deeply.
Take a slow, deep breath. As you inhale, imagine breathing in your peaceful color. As you exhale, imagine releasing your stress color along with the tension you no longer need. - Repeat once more.
Take a second slow, intentional breath using the same visualization. - Check in again.
Return to the Relaxation Scale. Notice where you are now compared with where you started.
Slow, intentional breathing can help calm the body's stress response and encourage a greater sense of relaxation. By focusing your attention on your breathing and visualization, you're also giving your mind something intentional to focus on, helping you step away from racing thoughts and reconnect with the present moment.
And the best part? It only takes two breaths.
A Note from Pam
"One of the things I love about the 2-Breath Hypnosis Technique is how simple it is. You don't need special equipment, a quiet room, or a lot of time. It's a tool you can return to whenever you need a moment to reset, refocus, and reconnect with yourself."

Make It Part of Your Day
You can use the 2-Breath Hypnosis Technique anytime you need it, whether you're starting your morning, transitioning home after a busy day, preparing for something stressful, or simply noticing that you need a moment to reset.
Â
With regular practice, you may find it becomes easier to settle into a calmer, more focused state. Rather than looking for a specific number of days before you notice a difference, pay attention to the small changes over time: how quickly you recover from stressful moments, how you feel at the end of your day, and how easily you're able to create a sense of calm when you need it.
Two breaths. One moment to reset. A simple practice you can carry with you wherever you go.
